Highlights – Changing your Look Subtly

Highlights will add interest and a dash of colour to your hair without being too dramatically different. If you are looking for ways to do something new with your hair but, overall, you like your colour and are happy with your cut, then highlights could be the answer you are looking for.

You can get highlights in lots of different shades to suit your complexion. Often highlights will be blonde but you can also select lots of other colours, from lighter browns to bright reds if you want to make a statement!

There are also lots of techniques that can be used for highlights to give you the look you want. You can select a full or half head of highlights depending on how much of your hair you want to be coloured. If you want a very natural look that blends in with your own hair, ask your stylist about balayage as this technique will wave your highlights into your hair very subtly.
